The renovations and additions to a 1950s ranch style house used simple gestures, a rethinking of the front façade, and the use of bold color to give the house a unique street presence and clarify the entry experience. A new front porch and sitting room redefine the old entry area while inside, minor interventions added a more modern openness to the kitchen and living areas.
